My Background
I come from an entrepreneurial background. My parents started Brown’s Antiques in 1945 and it is still thriving today. Browns’ is the oldest antique shop in Indiana. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents have all had their own businesses.
My education is in Dental Hygiene. I worked for several years, but was blessed by being able to stay home with our two children. It was comforting to know that if I needed to go to work I was in a field that would support our children.
My husband, Fred, and I met in Dental School, married after graduation, and then entered the Service. Our short stint in the Army ended up being 20 years, living in Europe seven years, traveling a lot. Fred retired as a Colonel went into private practice for 18 years and then retired a second time.
